We here at Smiling Hill are pleased to announce our first blogsite. We hope that family and friends will enjoy our array of family "pics" and selected adventures. In the spirit of Smiling Hill, we hope that every blog is full of ridiculous sunshine. For those interested in SH lore, the title "Smiling Hill" was the name of a family farm nestled in the rolling hills of yesteryear (sigh). Although closed years ago, may the spirit of SH open your hearts and capture your imaginations, literally.
Those silver containers take me back to a simpler time of Sheaffer Bros Auto Parts, throwing snowballs at Sheaffer Bros Auto Parts, and Steve Gibson's filthy bearded face (also at Sheaffer Bros Auto Parts). I miss Sheaffer Bros Auto Parts.
Was ir really hard to turn your back on the mauve tiles contrasting with the mint green and industrial tiles? :) I think the sacrifice is well worth it. It looks fabulous. I love the red color you chose.
